1. Alpine Hotel Marker
Inscription.  Originally built in 1862 as the Fiske House in Silver Mountain City. It was dismantled, board by board, in 1886 by A.M. Grover and a crew of men. Each board was marked and many of the old square nails were saved. It was re-erected on this site and named the “Hot Springs Hotel”. In 1900 it was once again renamed, this time as the “Alpine Hotel” which it has carried to this day.
Dedicated September 16, 1972.
