Inscription. Nashville, Memphis and Knoxville constructed major buildings. "Never uninteresting” was Memphis and Shelby County's Pyramid of Cheops, situated to the right of the Parthenon as viewed across the artificial Lake Watauga. Within various Exposition buildings Davidson County, Hamilton County with Chattanooga, Rutherford County with Murfreesboro and Montgomery County had displays. Buildings had themes such as Transportation, Commerce, Minerals and Forestry, and Agriculture. Exhibits within them highlighted accomplishments from across the state.
