1. Power House Marker
The Power House contained all of the machinery and equipment for operations across the estate. The oil-fired boilers heated the buildings and water for the swimming pool. Pumps operated the vacuum cleaner system in the house. Chlorinating tanks disinfected water heading to the buildings and the pool. Utilities from the Power House, including electrical service, connect to the Main Residence at the basement level via an underground tunnel. The massive chimney on the building's lakeside hides a smokestack for the boilers.
