Inscription.

To honor all the people who lost their lives, and praise the heroes who died trying to save others.

To commemorate the courage of an entire nation, and pay tribute to its strength in persevering.

To remember the attacks on the United States, and the tenacity with which we defend our freedom.

In remembrance of September 11, 2001.

Recovered nearly 40 feet underground, at the corner of Church and Liberty Streets in New York City about a block away from its original foundation. It was an outside beam in the World Trade Center Tower Number 2.
