1. The Sloan-Paris House Marker
Inscription. Built in 1852 by Dr. John Sloan as a residence and office. Dr. Sloan and family lived here until his death April 10, 1898. Survived by a daughter, Anna, and her husband Admiral George Bicknell. Judge & Mrs. John M. Paris bought the house from Adm. Bicknell and used it as residence and office. Distinctive features are the captain's walk and the molded glass window panes.
