In this place, at the gates of the Government Palace, on March 28, 2011, an Offering was installed before the vile murder of seven people: Juan Francisco Sicilia Ortega, Julio César Romero Jaime, Luis Antonio Romero Jaime, Jaime Gabriel Alejos Cadena, Jesús Chávez Vázquez, Álvaro Jaime Avelar and Maria del Socorro Estrada Hernández.
Today, this memorial is in their honor for having opened the eyes of the nation and in protest against their murders and those of many more people, because
