En este lugar, a las puertas del Palacio de Gobierno, el 28 de marzo de 2011, se instaló una Ofrenda ante el vil asesinato de 7 personas: Juan Francisco Sicilia Ortega, Julio César Romero Jaime, Luis Antonio Romero Jaime, Jaime Gabriel Alejos Cadena, Jesús Chávez Vázquez, Álvaro Jaime Avelar y Ma. del Socorro Estrada Hernández.

Hoy, este memorial es en su honor por haber abierto los ojos de la Nación y en protesta por sus homicidios y los de muchas personas más, porque
