1. Jacob Sargeant House Marker
Inscription. The original of this house was built in 1852 by Jacob Sargeant, soon after arriving here from Royalton, Vermont. It was occupied by the Sargeant family until 1930.

The house burned in 1945 and was authentically rebuilt by William and Mary Bootz.
 
Erected 1975 by Women's Club of Newburgh, Indiana.
