3. Benjamin Franklin "Dubb" Ford memorial
On the other side of the city hall is a memorial to Benjamin Franklin "Dubb" Ford (1920-2002), local little league coach and strong influence on the local community. The inscription includes his "Little League Pledge": I trust in god. I love my country and will respect its laws. I will play fair and strive to win. But win or lose, I will always do my best."
