1. So, What Happened Here? Marker
Inscription. On June 3, 1996, as part of the Centennial Olympic Games Celebration, a massive bronze sculpture of five thoroughbred horses running through the collapsed Berlin Wall was unveiled on this spot. The piece was 18 feet wide by 12 feet high and weighted seven tons. In 1997, the piece was carefully moved from here to its permanent location in the courtyard of the George Bush Presidential Library Center on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
