Inscription.
On May 7, 1825, General Lafayette was welcomed at Rawlings' Hotel where a repast had been prepared in his honor.

Erected 2022 by The Lafayette Trail, Inc.; IL Daughters of the American Revolution; William G. Pomeroy Foundation. (Marker Number 81.)
