Excerpt (in translation): "Enrique IV, born in Valladolid in 1425, lived in Madrid for a long time and loved this city very especially: in Madrid he married Princess Juana of Portugal; the Cortes convened for the swearing-in of the heiress of the Kingdom, Doña Juana; he granted the city the privileges to hold a free market on Tuesdays...; exempted the city and its suburbs from paying "measures and coins", organized four days of lavish parties in El Pardo for the ambassador of the Duke of Brittany and as a prize for the loyalty of the knights of Madrid against the royal enemy; granted the city the title of "Very Noble and Very Loyal" in the year 1465.
