Angel in Anguish
Photographed By Devry Becker Jones (CC0), October 15, 2022
A September 11th memorial of a sorrowful bronze angel wrapping her wings around a base etched with the image of the Twin Towers. This Memorial is also engraved with the names of those individuals in Brick Township who never returned to their homes on that fateful day. This piece of art is truly inspiring and spiritual; it is used as a vehicle for people to heal. The Angel in Anguish is a therapeutic tool for those who mourn the loss of loved ones taken too young, too tragically, or just too early.
You can find this original piece of art in a circular garden near the edge of the Metedconk River just off Princeton Ave in Brick Township, NJ.
