1. Dutch Corner School House Marker
Inscription. The school was built in 1878 at Dutch Corners, moved to present site in the late 1890’s. Charlie Poy, who had cooked for the railroad crews from his kitchen tent, opened Newman’s first restaurant. Other restaurants followed including Las Flores Cafe, a Mexican restaurant, that closed in 2015.
