1. Fisk University Athletics Marker
Inscription. Fisk University is home to the Bulldogs, and its athletic programs have a long history of success. Over the years, from football to basketball, golf, tennis, and track, Fisk has produced exceptional student athletes, and cultivated them as both scholars and leaders in their communities. In 1954, Fisk's Galloway stadium was the site of the first interracial college football game played in the state of Tennessee. Fisk took on Taylor University of Upland, Indiana.
