Inscription. The Douglas P. Pattin Home was built 1896-97 with sandstone from the same Constitution, Ohio quarry as the adjacent David Putnam House. Characterized by the rusticated or facet - cut stone, brick and stone chimneys, and steel columns, the Pattin Home marks the east entrance of Harmar Village, Harmar Historic District.
