1. West Jersey & Seashore Railroad Marker
Inscription. The West Jersey Railroad's Angelsea Station was built here in 1889 as part of the West Jersey's new right-of-way. The West Jersey merged with numerous other Pennsylvania Railroad subsidiaries in 1896 to form the West Jersey & Seashore Railroad. This Station was later expanded and renovated, with a grand opening occurring on Christmas Day, 1905. Passenger service was maintained through the Angelsea Station until November 4, 1933.
