In 1899, the Greenville Methodist Church was built with the best available materials. It had a seating capacity of several hundred people. Torn down in 1942, part of the salvaged materials were used to construct the church in new Greenville. In 1979, the church was renamed Grace United Methodist Church. (Marker Number P.)
