Inscription.
On June 11, 1825 General Lafayette passed through Little Falls on the Erie Canal. The aqueduct was illuminated in his honor.
 
Erected 2022 by NY Daughters of the American Revolution & William G. Pomeroy Foundation. (Marker Number 82.)
