Inscription.
Many years have come and gone,
Waiting on no one,
Always moving forward.

Dwight Ball, Phillip Brandon, Duane Greenlee, Dale Hood, Steven Janeda, William Lucas, Glenn McCammon, Jack Pittman, James Ravencraft, Richard Rucker, Charles Schnegg.

Time stood still.
Gone,
Not forgotten.
Late,
Legacy living.

Dwight Ball, 20.
Young and invincible,
Yet a casualty of war.
A mother lost her son,
A man lost his best friend.

Phillip Brandon, 19,
A Beallsville boy,
Became an army man.
His present had been painful,
Needed,
But painful.
His future…
Misplaced by a bullet.

Duane Greenlee, 19.
Always faithful.
Yet barely a man.
His sacrifice earned him,
A spot on a stone.
His sacrifice left us,
With a hole in our hearts.

Dale Hood, 20.
Being brave for his country.
Cost him his life.
What did he leave behind?
A wife to-be? A mother,
Father, friends?
His story untold,
May never unfold
For us to remember.

Steven Janeda, 20.
Summers from your youth,
Spent on a farm.
Memories some will never forget.
Your nephew and niece,
Know of your life,
Memories being repeated aloud,
Sure to live on in their

minds.

Richard Rucker, 20.
Your youth was prominent,
Your sister's too.
Not a day goes by,
That she doesn't miss you.
Your death was not in vain.

James Ravencraft, 23.
Staff Sergeant,
Missing in Action.
Your family
was missing as well.
Missing a son,
A friend,
A confidant.
Gone, never forgotten.

Charles Schnegg, 20.
Yet you are gone,
You're given much respect.
So many times.
We think of our fallen
with curious minds.
Mine is wondering of you,
Your story, your goals.
Your hobbies, your roles in life.
One day. I hope to know.

William Lucas, 20.
Cortley tried,
So you know,
You were never left alone.
Too young for the injuries,
Placed upon you -
It breaks my heart.

Glenn McCammon, 33.
Staff Sergeant.
Father,
Husband,
Son.
Taken too soon,
Your loved ones miss you.

Jack Pittman, 20.
Only twenty,
Only child.
You left your parents.
So sure of your return.
You: shy and quiet
Your parents: grieving loudly.

Many years have come and gone,
Waiting on no one,
Always moving forward.
Those same years,
Are years spent,
With our minds wandering.
Wandering through the past,
Remembering.
