Putnam County

The Board of County Commissioners and the citizens of
Putnam County
honor our warriors of freedom.

We proudly pay tribute to the citizen soldiers of our
county who served, fought and died
in the name of democracy.

We are forever grateful and salute the fifty-one men
of our county who gave the “ultimate sacrifice”
for their country and flag.

Our citizens hold in high esteem the contributions of
the men and women of America’s uniformed military
services of the past and present.

May we never forget their sacrifices for our continued
freedom which we cherish to this day.
