1. American Legion Building Marker
Inscription. In 1952 the town granted land to American Legion Post 256 for the construction of this building and to commemorate the veterans of Blowing Rock. Members of the Legion post and town citizens provided the labor, funds, and materials. Renovations, completed in 2015, made the building more functional for the entire community.
