Excerpt (in translation): Franz Alfons Wolpert was born in Wiesentheid. He was a composer, conductor, music teacher, pianist and choir director. As a boy, Wolpert belonged to the Regensburger Domspatzen, later he studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Among other things, he worked as a music teacher in Regensburg, Salem/Baden, Salzburg and άberlingen. He died in Munich in 1978 and is buried in Wiesentheid.(Submitted on November 17, 2022.)
