1. St. Ann's Hermitage Marker
Inscription.

This building was bought in 1997 and named St. Ann's Hermitage to recall the heritage of the Marist Brothers, founders of Marist College. The brothers purchased the McPherson property in 1905 and christened it St. Ann's Hermitage, in memory of the first residence of the Marist Brothers in France, Notre Dame de l'Hermitage. The original St. Ann's Hermitage mansion was destroyed by fire on October 23, 1958.
