1. Fuel Storage Building 1890 Marker
Inscription. The Fuel Storage Building was completed in 1890. It's red roof marked that there were flammable substances inside. This is where the keepers would have kept the fuel for the light. Note the metal roof, brick walls, and a brick floor, which was an attempt to make the building fireproof.
