1. Head Keepers Cottage 1881 Marker
Inscription. The Head Keeper's Cottage was built in 1881 after the previous dwelling had suffered extreme damage during a tropical cyclone that hit in 1871. The house was built for a sum of $6,000 which would be $160,500 in 2021.

The restoration was completed in 2001 for a total of $500,000.
