1. Coxe Houses, 1801 Marker
Inscription.
The Coxe family owned the land at 107 and 109 East Sixth Street for more than a century before Thomas Coxe built this double house for this two daughters.

Built like Philadelphia "trinity" or "band box" houses then popular, each unit had only one room on each of its three floors. Members of the Coxe family lived in the houses until 1957.
