Nassau County

Nassau County remembers the sacrifice of its men and women
in the United States Armed Forces during WW II,
and pays tribute to Nassau County citizens on the home front
for their dedication to world peace.

U.S. Coast Guard based at Fort Clinch
Local paper mill manufactures war products
Civilian Coast Watchers serve as airplane spotters
Citizens sacrifice in coastal blackouts
