Three storeys, brick, wood frame, field stone foundation, flat roof, full wrap around porch, portico on east side, window lintels, entablature and bracketed cornice.

This historic gem first opened its doors in 1884 as the Gardner House Hotel. Currently the 1st floor houses The Hasting Beauty School and the upper floors consist of apartment rental units.

2. East Second Street Commercial Historic District.
Downtown district consisting of thirty-five commercial buildings built between 1860 and 1900. The downtown area retained its historic integrity even as other communities modernized their downtowns as a result of post-World War II urban renewal efforts. The district contains a number of two- and three-story buildings, each in a unique style. The upper levels of the buildings often include windows topped with ornate hoods.
