Das Gebäude an der Handelsstraße Cannstatt - Nürnberg stammt aus der zweiten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts. Schon 1748 war ein Wirtshaus darin untergebracht, das von 1793 bis zum Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts unter dem Namen Grüner Baum geführt wurde.

This building on the Cannstatt-Nuremberg trade route dates from the second half of the Seventeenth Century. Already by 1748 it was known to be an inn, and from 1793 until the start of the 21st century it operated under the name of the Grüner Baum (“Green Tree”).
