1. For Which It Stands Marker
Inscription. "For Which It Stands was commissioned by the Mayor of Itasca, Illinois to be placed in front of the flag pole outside the City Hall. I had an idea for two children to be pledging the flag. When I photographed the children, Eric, who was three, didn't quite know what to do and had his hand on his stomach. Happy accident. I have learned, when working with children, to let them guide me in the pose and keep the parents away."
