Pfc. Stanley R. Christianson was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroic action against enemy forces at Hill 132 at Seoul, Korea, September 29, 1950. While he was manning a listening post in the early morning hours the enemy made an attack. Pfc. Christianson quickly sent another Marine to alert the platoon.
