Luis Antonio Sanguino (1934 - )
Scion of a wealthy Basque business family, Gardoqui served as a financial intermediary during the Revolutionary War, helping bring fund and arms from Spain to America. He then became Spain's first ambassador to the United States. This bronze was a gift of the Spanish government for the U.S. Bicentennial.

Giuseppi Donato (1881 - 1965)
An Irish immigrant, FitzSimons founded a major trading company that provided supplies and funds to American forces during the Revolution. A signer of the U.S. Constitution, he served three terms in Congress. The Society of the Friends of St. Patrick erected this bronze memorial.
