St. Joseph Statue
St. Joseph, husband of Mary and foster father of Jesus was the protector and provider of the Holy Family.
This statue was originally in front of the Old Cathedral which was in Visale. During WWII the cathedral was bombed and the only thing that survived were the statue of St. Joseph and Blessed Virgin Mary.
This statue and grotto of St. Joseph is dedicated to all the men of Solomon Islands that they like St. Joseph, will be the physical and spiritual protectors and providers of their families.
This grotto is donated by the family of Honorable John and Matilda Maneniaru
