Excerpt (in translation): Prokofiev came to Madrid as an already established musician for the premiere in our city of his "Second Concert for Violin and Orchestra" on December 1, 1935, which was performed by the Madrid Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Arbós at this Monumental Theatre.
