Inscription. Home of Morgan Hill and Diana Murphy Hill. Built in 1884 of redwood lumber from the Santa Cruz Mtns. The Hill family lived here from 1884 – 1910. The City of Morgan Hill was named after Mr. Hill.

Erected 1972 by Morgan Hill Historical Society.
