Inscription. In memory of World War II Glider Pilots and support personnel at Clinton County Army Air Field 1942-45 who flight tested more than thirty United States, English and German Glider designs using various tugs while conducting hundreds of glider experiments including perfection of the human and glider aerial pick-up.
