Charles Merry Cigar Factory
Built in 1911 for Charles L. Merry as a cigar factory and store
Charles' son Earl converted the business to Merry's Recreationa pool hall
Gordon and Marlene Everett purchased the building in the early 1960s for their business The Northern Star
The building was later Northern Office Supply. The Everetts transferred the building to the Otsego County Historical Society by gift and nominal purchase in 1991.
The Otsego County History Museum opened in 1992
Erected by Rotary Club of Gaylord.
