Regarding Ritchie Valens Post Office. Ritchie Valens (May 13, 1941 – February 3, 1959) was a rock & roll pioneer singer/songwriter from Pacoima who was killed in a plane crash eight months into his music career. Also killed in the crash were Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and pilot Roger Peterson.
Valens had several hits, most notably "La Bamba" and "Donna".
