Inscription. Richard Joseph Mark was born in St. Louis and graduated from Collinsville High School in Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University and a Masters in Business Management from National Louis University. He is the first African American Senior Vice President for Ameren and first African American Chairman, President and CEO of Ameren Illinois.
