Inscription.

First post office est'd May 18, 1889 as Alfred, O.T. Town name was changed June 6, 1890 to honor Zack Mulhall, rancher and Wild West Show promoter. His daughter, Lucille Mulhall, was famous as "World's First Cowgirl."
 
Erected 1983 by Mulhall Community Club and Oklahoma Historical Society.
