1. Weller House Marker
Inscription. The first structure on this site was probably Lettner’s Exchange, which was later purchased in the 1850’s and remodeled by the Bramer Brothers. They operated the Orleans Hotel, Restaurant and Oyster Saloon until 1856 when Elias Weller bought this property and converted it to his residence. Portions of the old Orleans Hotel may still be in the Weller House.
