1. Odd Fellows Hall Marker
Inscription. The I.O.O.F. Hall was built in 1854 by the International Order of Odd Fellow, Lodge #27, and the Baptist Church. The I.O.O.F. was only one of many fraternal lodges that were active during the 1850s in Coloma and in most mining towns. The building was also used as a public school in the 1870’s and when the schoolhouse burned in 1919. The lodge surrendered its charter after Coloma’s population declined. The state acquired the property in 1959.
