1. Ye Wilbur Theatre Marker
Inscription. Ye Wilbur Theatre opened in 1914. It was designed by architect Clarence Blackhall and is renowned for its architectural individuality, grace and refinement. Ye Wilbur has hosted many world premieres, among them "Our Town," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Miracle Worker," and "Long Day's Journey Into Night." International stars who have appeared on its stage include Marlon Brando, Ann Bancroft, Kirk Douglas, Patricia Neal, Charleton Heston, Julie Harris, Montgomery Clift, Henry Fonda, Joan Bennett, Carol Channing and Jason Roberts.
