1. Tufts Building Marker
Inscription. Designed by Rand & Taylor, Kendall & Stevens. Constructed in 1897 of red brick with cast iron storefronts, limestone trim, and a copper medallion brick cornice. Named for the Tufts Company, the original occupants, manufacturers of soda fountain apparatus. The Congress Street and wharf faηades were preserved in 2011 and joined with the Graphic Arts Building to create the waterfront building at Atlantic Wharf.
