1. Ron Himes Marker

Inscription. Ron Himes was born in St. Louis and graduated from Soldan High School and Washington University in 1978. While a student, he founded the Saint Louis Black Repertory Company, which is world renown for singing quality productions from a Black perspective. He developed the Woodie Awards to honor outstanding actors, directors and designers. The Awards are named for Woodie King, Jr. the "Godfather of Black Theater."
