Inscription. The City of Mission Viejo honors Jason D. Peto who died December 7, 2010 during Operation Enduring Freedom while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. He will be remembered as a hometown hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.
