Overview (in translation): Charles Lederman , born on January 27, 1913 in Warsaw (at that time in the Russian Empire, now in Poland) and died on September 25, 1998 in Paris(in the 4th arrondissement), was a lawyer at the Paris Bar, a resistance fighter within the Œuvre de aide aux enfants, co-founder of the Union of Jews for Resistance and Mutual Aid and of the National Movement Against Racism, and a French politician. He was an elected member of the French Communist Party, first as a councilor for Paris and then as a senator for Val-de-Marne from 1977 to 1995.(Submitted on February 6, 2023.)
