Teatro Adolfo Mejía
La antigua Iglesia de La Merced, hoy Teatro Adolfo Mejía (construido en 1911, Arq. Luis Felipe Jaspe Franco), junto al Convento de la Merced, hoy sede de postgrados de la Universidad de Cartagena, constituyen una unidad arquitectónica de intervención. Es un edificio republicano de características neoclásicas, consta de un volumen de dos plantas donde se encuentra el acceso central, enmarcado por tres arcos de medio punto en la primera planta.

The ancient Church of La Merced, today Teatro Adolfo Mejía (built in 1911, Architect Luis Felipe Jaspe Franco), next to the Convent of La Merced, hosts postgraduate programs from the University of Cartagena, constitute an architectural intervention unit. A republican building of neoclassical features, it has a volume of two levels where the central entry is framed by three arches on the first floor.
