Levinus W.C. Keuchenius
Nederlands advocaat en politicus. Hij was een trouwe volgeling van Groen van Prinsterer en werd in 1866 Tweede Kamerlid. Na een periode in Indiλ kwam hij vanaf 1879 terug in de Tweede Kamer en pleitte voor de gratie van de socialistenleider Ferdinand Domela Nieuwenhuis. Als minster van Koloniλn was hij verdediger van het bijzonder onderwijs en de zending.

Dutch lawyer and politician. He was a loyal follower of Groen van Prinsterer and became a Member of Parliament in 1866. After a period in the Dutch East Indies, he returned to the House of Representatives in 1879 and pleaded for the pardon of the socialist leader Ferdinand Domela Nieuwenhuis. As Minister of the Colonies, he was a defender of special education and missions.
