1. Clawson's Oldest Commercial Building Marker
Inscription.
Built about 1915, the building first housed Clawson's grocery store. The grocery, along with Robinson's General Store further east on the street, helped provide the daily needs for Clawson residents. Above is the building as it appeared in 1927,

Later, beginning in the 1930's and into the 1950's, the building housed Pratt's Feeds which carried a variety of feeds and products for livestock, poultry and pets. Above left is the interior of the feed store in the 1950's. The resident cat poses in the foreground and a sign on the front window advertises fresh horse meat for sale.

Below right shows Greg's Dairy Bar in 1959, in a newer building adjacent to the Levy Building.
